These vanilla mashed sweet potatoes are an all-time favorite Thanksgiving side. Smooth, premium vanilla, honey, butter, and more are combined with sweet potatoes to create a creamy, subtly sweet mashed sweet potato masterpiece.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds sweet potaotes (peeled and cut into 2-inch cubes)
  • ½ cup butter (dairy-free or regular)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Place sweet potatoes in a large pot. Fill the pot with water. Bring water to a boil. 

    4 pounds sweet potaotes
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat and allow to simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender when poked with a fork about 15 mins.
  • Drain water. 

  • Place sweet potatoes in mixer. Add all ingredients. Whisk on high for 3-5 minutes until fluffy. 

    ½ cup butter, ¼ cup honey, ½ tsp vanilla extract, ½ tsp ground cinnamon, ⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 tbsp brown sugar, ¼ tsp salt
