Valentine’s Day Cupcake Ingredients
- Coconut oil (Melted and cooled. Vegetable oil will work, too).
- Sugar
- Eggs (room temperature).
- Flour (gluten-free can be used. For gluten-free flour, we love Joise’s Best Gluten-Free Mixes).
- Salt or Vanilla Salt
- Unsweetened almond milk (regular dairy milk is acceptable to use).
- baking powder
- Vanilla bean paste or the seeds from a vanilla bean.
- Vanilla frosting mix (dairy-free butter and milk if you want dairy-free frosting).
- Toppings: Color frosting with food coloring, Valentine’s Day sprinkles, Sweetheart candy, or other valentines day decorations.
How to Make Valentine’s Day Cupcakes
- Make Batter: Combine oil and sugar in a mixer or large bowl. Next, add eggs, and mix for one minute. Then, slowly add the remaining ingredients and mix on medium for 1 minute or until thoroughly combined. Make sure to scrape down the sides.
- Bake: Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners, and pour batter into each liner, filling 3/4 of the way full. Bake at 350 for 13-17 minutes.
- Frost, Decorate, and Serve: Make the vanilla frosting mix according to the directions on the packaging. Frost and decorate cupcakes. Serve and Enjoy!
