Strawberry Vanilla Bean Simple Syrup Ingredients

- 1 cup strawberries, pitted and diced (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- Seeds from one organic vanilla bean (save the vanilla bean pod)
How to Make Strawberry Vanilla Syrup
- Prep Ingredients: Wash, pit, and dice strawberries and scrape the seeds of one vanilla bean.
- Combine Ingredients: Place all items into a small saucepan and place over medium-high heat.
- Boil Ingredients: Bring mixture to a boil. Then allow syrup to boil for 12 minutes or until the mixture turns dark pink. Make sure to stir occasionally.
- Strain: Place a mesh strainer over a measuring cup and pour the syrup into the mesh strainer, catching the strawberries. Allow the syrup to cool for one hour, then pour it into a syrup bottle. Place the leftover vanilla bean pod inside the bottle. Store in the refrigerator.
