Unlike most marinades that are high in fat, this dry vanilla spice rub adds flavor directly to the meat without any unwanted additives. This spice rub should add great flavor to any meal, whether it is chicken, steak, pork, or seafood. Since this spice rub will last up to 3 months if stored correctly, we recommend making a large batch in advance. That way, you will always have it on hand when you need to season something in a pinch. Plus, it’s so good you’ll probably want to use it regularly.
One of the main ingredients for this rub is vanilla sugar, which we just so happen to have a recipe for. In addition to the sugar, you will also need one ground vanilla bean to make this vanilla spice rub. Another main ingredient is cinnamon. Any old cinnamon will do, but if you ask us, the only cinnamon worth using is Red Ape Cinnamon. All in all, the combination of paprika, vanilla sugar, vanilla beans, salt, pepper, and allspice seasoning will genuinely create a spice rub that will make your mouth water as you take your first bite.
