Who doesn’t love a good cinnamon roll? fluffy bread, the sharp taste of cinnamon, and the gooey delicious frosting. It’s really one of the best desserts around. Plus, it’s not just a dessert, they are also a great breakfast pastry when served with your morning coffee. If you want the rich flavor and texture of professionally made cinnamon rolls but with natural ingredients, this recipe is for you. We use our Organic Vanilla Extract, but if you want a stronger vanilla flavor in these cinnamon rolls, then you can experiment with our Double Strength Vanilla Extract.
Since we’re talking about cinnamon rolls we have to mention the cinnamon. We HIGHLY recommend using our sister company Red Ape Cinnamon in this recipe! Additionally, if you’re looking for some added flavor we would recommend adding walnuts or raisins as a topping. You’ll find that the added crunch or texture really ties the rolls together!

Ingredients
1 cup milk
1 egg
4 tbsp melted butter
4 tbsp water
1.75 oz. vanilla pudding mix
4 cups bread flour
1 tbsp sugar
½ tbsp salt
2 ¼ tsp yeast
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp Red Ape Cinnamon
¼ cup raisins, optional
1 ½ cup confectioners sugar
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bread machine pan, place the milk, beaten egg, melted butter, water, vanilla pudding mix, bread flour, sugar, salt and yeast in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the Dough cycle.
- When cycle is finished, remove the dough and knead it for 3 to 5 minutes. Roll out to a large rectangle.
- Mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread over the dough. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and raisins if desired. Starting with the widest end, roll the dough into a log. Pinch to seal the seams. Cut into ½ inch to 1-inch slices and place on a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Place in a draft-free space and allow to rise until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake for 15 to 20 miute.
- To make frosting, mix the milk, confectioner’s sugar, softened butter and vanilla in a small bowl. Spread over the warm cinnamon rolls after you take them out of the oven.
